Welcome to the Lockhart Chiropractic Clinic. Whether you are
new to the chiropractic profession or just new to our clinic,
we would like to introduce you to our methods of treatment.
A Doctor of Chiropractic has a different approach to pain and
illness in that the cause of the pain is paramount, rather
than the treatment of symptoms only.
The cause of the discomfort is sought and is usually found
within or adjacent to the spinal column. Often sedentary
lifestyles cause a predisposition to conjestion building up
in the joints of the spine, irritating sensitive nerve roots,
causing fixation and misalignment of the vertebrae or spinal
bones.
The Chiropractic treatment at this clinic is designed to
reduce the joint conjestion through a range of physical as
well as gentle manipulation procedures, so that normal
function is restored.
Our Specialized Treatment
At our Chiropractic Clinic, treatment given is based on over
30 years experience in this profession, both in Australia and
in the U.S.A.
During this time, we have found that patients respond better
and faster when given a range of physical modalities.
Your Actual Chiropractic Treatment
We begin by taking a case history and checking your blood
pressure.
As there is usually muscle and ligament spasm and sometimes
nerve inflammation in association with a misalignment, we
first apply gentle heat, the spinal adjustment then follows.
Our heat modalities are ultra-sound, diathermy and T.D.P.
These methods produce quick relief and accelerated recovery
by bringing blood supply into the area to promote healing.
Corrective exercise will be offered in some cases. Our
special exercise programme is unique using the most advanced
techniques available including the Gravity Inversion
Techniques.
Other Specialist Services
X-Ray may be recommended for some patients.
Referrals to a specialist radiologist will be given and are
part refundable on Medicare.
Nutritional Consultation By Appointment
only
A personal dietary work-up is discussed with emphasis on
Natural foods. May include recipes, instructions, and
lifestyle hints.
Iris Diagnosis By Appointment only
Iridology is the study of the irises of the eyes for the
purpose of determining the state of the tissues of the human
body.
Massage
Massage is available by appointment in the beautiful Balinese
Pavilions of the White Lotus Tropical Day Spa, a part of the
Bwell Oasis Lifestyle Centre. Choose from Relaxation,
Aromatherapy, Remedial and Pregnancy Massage. The full menu

A first visit is a patient who attends for the first
time.
All fees must be paid at each visit.

A patient who has not attended for at least a year or a
patient who presents with a complaint other than the original
problem will be charged accordingly.
